I grew up in rural Alaska, where adventure was real, screen time didn’t exist, and stories weren’t just told—they were lived.

I spent my childhood running wild, tracking through mud, and coming home full of stories to tell.

Now? I’m raising a toddler the same way—messy, free, full of imagination, and always with a dog at his side.

I’m a dog business owner, an Indigenous Alaskan author, and a mom who never sits still.
I run a bird dog boarding business, a hand-sewn dog gear shop (because Arya’s style became a must-have), and somehow, between working dogs, muddy paws, and never-ending toddler messes… I write books.

He’s got three working bird dogs, a head full of big ideas, and the imagination of a kid raised in pure, unfiltered chaos.

Every night, we turn his wild, messy, hilarious thoughts into stories.
He creates the worlds. He adds the magic.

And somehow, between the trucks on the floor and the dogs zooming through the house, we turn it into a book.
